Siti appoints Yusril as her lawyer

Former health minister Siti Fadilah Supari has appointed Yusril Ihza
Mahendra as her lawyer in a graft case in which she is a suspect.
"I have asked Pak Yusril to represent me in the case," Siti said.
The National Police's corruption directorate has named Siti a suspect in a
botched Health Ministry medical equipment procurement project in 2005.
The project's value was Rp 15.5 billion (US$1.7 million) but corrupt
practices resulted in Rp 6.1 billion in state losses.
Yusril, former law and human rights minister, expressed his willingness to
defend Siti in the case, saying all accusations against his client must be
proven justly and transparently, tempo.co reported on Thursday. (iwa)
